Attach a File or URL to a Request
You may attach files and/or URLs to a request, after it has been created. For larger items (over 0.5 MByte), we recommend attaching URLs (although
files attached via mobile device are automatically resized). Smaller
items may be attached as files.
To attach a file to a request:
- Create the request or navigate to a previously created request.
- Tap the request number.
- Below the history log, tap Attach File.
- Speak (from mobile device) or type a "Description" of the file (e.g. "water damage" or "tear in carpet").
- Tap "Choose file" button and from a mobile device, take a picture, or from any device, select a previously saved file.
- You'll be returned to the Landport "Attach file" page, where you may adjust visibility, if needed. (Only Managers can limit visibility. Files attached from Requestor or Servicer accounts are visible to all involved parties.)
- Tap the "Upload file" button, which will save and make the file accessible from the request's history log.
To attach a URL to a request:
- Create the request or navigate to a previously created request.
- Tap the request number.
- Below the history log, tap Attach URL.
- Speak (from mobile device) or type a "URL description" (e.g. "building floor plan" or "tenant agreement").
- Enter the URL (copy/paste recommended).
- Tap the "Attach URL" button, which will save and make the URL accessible from the request's history log. URLs are visible to all users and cannot be limited by account type.
