Cancel Multiple Open Requests

Cancel Multiple Open Requests

Note: Requires admin privileges to implement. Please contact your Landport Administrator.  If you ARE your organization's Landport administrator and want to request Reporting privileges for yourself or a co-worker, please submit a Support ticket.

To cancel multiple open requests:
  1. From the Dashboard, tap Reporting.
  2. Under "Requests & Invoice Reports", tap Reports base upon Requests (see Tip).
  3. In the "Requests" section, select the "created" radio button.
  4. Adjust the date range, making sure the "After" date/time goes back as far as there are created requests that are still open.  Also, be careful that the "Before" date/time excludes any recently created requests that should NOT be cancelled.
  5. Adjust the remaining parameters in Step 1, as needed, making sure that "Request Status, only has "Open" checked.
  6. In Step 2, the "Columns to display" section, check the "cancel" box, leaving the other default check marks, as well.
  7. Tap "Generate Report"
  8. A report of requests, matching the selected parameters, will appear.  The requests eligible to be cancelled will have a checkbox in the first, "cancel?" column.  Either check the boxes individually, or tap the "Select all rows" button near the bottom of the report (you may go back and deselect random requests, if needed).
  9. Tap the "Cancel selected Requests" button.
Please note that once requests are cancelled, they cannot be restored in bulk, but can be reopened individually.

Tip:  If the term "Request" was changed to something else (e.g. Incident or Work Order), the link will read as such (e.g. Reports based upon Incidents).
