Delete PM

Note: Requires admin privileges to implement.  Please contact your Landport Administrator.  If you ARE your organization's Landport administrator and want to request PM privileges for yourself or a co-worker, please submit a Support ticket.

To delete a recurring/PM instruction (which only stops future requests from being generated and does not affect requests that have already been processed):

1. From the Dashboard, tap Preventive Maintenance.
2. Use one of two ways to generate a calendar listing of recurring/PM instructions:
  • "Monthly Totals" - Tap the month button to see PMs set to trigger during that month.  Note:  Before doing this, you may need to adjust the selected Manager of the PM, further down the page (hold the <Ctrl> key down to select multiple Managers).
  • "Filter Options for a Detailed Report of Requests"
  • All locations contained within - If needed, tap change location.  A pop-up window will appear allowing you to select a location/piece of equipment, using the "+" sign to drill down as needed.  If the window does not appear, tap here to view the pertinent article in "Troubleshooting".
  • Service Type*
  • Manager* - Managers whom you've designated to be responsible for PMs will appear in the selection box.
  • Servicer company* - Vendors to whom you are auto-dispatching PMs will appear in the selection box.
  • Month(s)*
* Hold the <Ctrl> key down to select multiples.
3. Tap "Generate Detailed Calendar" (only tap one time).
4. On the results page, tap the PM title in the "Description" column, which will take you to the parameter page for that PM.
5. Near the bottom of the parameter page, tap "Delete this Scheduled Maintenance Request".  This eliminates all the future PMs that are scheduled, but have not yet triggered.
6. To return to the results of your specific calendar search, tap Detailed Calendar.  You may then proceed to act on other PM instructions.  It is important NOT to use the browser's back arrow to return to the detailed calendar.

Tip:  If you delete a PM instruction and immediately realize you shouldn't have, you may tap Create New, Same Settings on the deletion confirmation page.  This will create a copy of what you just deleted, except for needing to re-select the location/equipment and confirming whether the frequency is "Indefinite".
