FAQ: What is the "Code" field, and is it related to the "location code" sorting option on the Dashboard?
The code field on the location profile page (Screen shot 1) is alphanumeric and may be used in ways such as:
- An identifier
- A way to categorize/sort
locations, on your account as well as on reports generated (see Tip).
- To help establish an interface to off-line accounting
systems
Tip: The sort
by "location code" option on the Dashboard (Screen shot 2) is a convenient way of
sorting locations and associated requests. You may also include and sort by the "location code" on reports.
